That terrible moment when your favorite band is going to be playing like 45 minutes from where you live in a week or so, but you can’t go because tickets are LITERALLY $90. AND THEY’RE NOT EVEN HEADLINING.

I’m really sorry TBS, but I can’t just drop $100 to see you play a 20 minute set of songs I will all have heard the night before. Plus the venue that it’s at usually charges at least $10 for parking, so we’ll have to go, pay $10 to park for 20 minutes, and then leave.

Guess this makes me the worst fan ever. :sigh:

That moment when you’re scrolling through someone’s page thinking “Oh wow, I could totally follow this person,” and you’re about to click the Follow button and then you see a post they made that’s like

“And my favorite bands are All Time Low and The Maine and Justin Bieber.”

And then you’re like

And you slowly X out.
And facepalm.

Music is crucial. Beyond no way can I overstress this fact. Let’s say you’re southbound on the interstate, cruising alone in the middle lane, listening to AM radio. Up alongside comes a tractor trailer of logs or concrete pipe, a tie-down strap breaks, and the load dumps on top of your little sheet metal ride. Crushed under a world of concrete, you’re sandwiched like so much meat salad between layers of steel and glass. In that last, fast flutter of your eyelids, you looking down that long tunnel toward the bright God Light and your dead grandma walking up to hug you—do you want to be hearing another radio commercial for a mega, clearance, closeout, blow-out liquidation car-stereo sale?

Does anyone know if The Starting Line is doing a holiday show(s) this year? We have to book a new flight to the northeast for the end of December, and before we book this second (AND FINAL) time, we want to make sure there’s nothing else that we need to factor in!

We’ve been to their holiday shows the last 2 years they’ve done them, and they’ve always been announced way before this, so is it safe to assume there isn’t one this year?
